Bomb food cool owner and staff. Really good portions and great value. Old school atmosphere. Been coming here for decades. To find out recently that my old coworkers were in here gossiping about me makes their food taste even better! LMFAO.

We all liked the food here. It was higher priced than other Chinese restaurants, but I think that's good. We should value more cuisines and treat them less like cheap commodities. Our server Ashland was very nice and checked in on us multiple times. She helped us to get a custom eggplant and black bean dish that was very good. The interior is a fun mix of haute 80s pink and muted kailedoscope. Even the tablecloths are pink. It's a fun throwback vibe.

Service was great, but the food was honestly not. And the prices are a little high. The egg rolls were just filled with big pieces of undercooked cabbage with an occasional carrot and had no flavor at all...worst egg roll I've ever had. We ordered other dishes..Mongolian Beef and Soft Noodles...they were okay...I've had better. My biggest complaint is about the Tangerine Chicken. It had a horrible texture...you could hear yourself chewing it, and it was hard to chew. While I was chewing it, I contemplated if it wasn't fully cooked, and wanted to spit it out, but didn't want to be rude or gross in my material napkin, lol, so suffered through chewing it. My 16 year old daughter went to bite it, couldn't, decided not to eat it, and insisted it was not chicken. And my mom couldn't chew it at all. I felt bad to say something and send it back, but I honestly should have asked for it to be removed from the check, cause it was that bad. I've had better orange chicken that was frozen in bag. Just felt like we wasted $110. Won't be going back again.

We stopped in at the Peking Inn tonight for dinner. The restaurant was quite busy and appears to be a popular choice for the locals. We were seated at a lovery booth and were brought some nice hot tea by our terrific server, Maddie. Maddie asked if we had any questions about the menu as this was our first time at the restaurant. We asked about the soups and entrees and decided on two cups of egg flower soup with the crispy noodles as our appetizer. We then ordered our entrees with orange chicken and beef and broccoli. Both dishes were very good. Maddie provided excellent service. The ambiance was quite cozy and warm as well. The food was plentiful so we took quite a bit home for tomorrow. We also each had an egg roll which were delicious. Good food and service. Highly recommended.

Beef chow fun (rice noodle) was okay. Had a hint of "wok air", mostly in the beef.... and as you can see from my pic... the beef is few and far in between. For $19.84, I expect a few more pieces of meat. Very soft rice noodles(meh), not very wet (the authentic way to do it is not too wet. Couldn't even explain what i wanted to the staff as the front desk staff were all super Caucasian). Flavor was...fine, somewhat weak.
